  1. Can't go wrong with japanese cartridge.
  2. Disc ONE up to TEN
  3. As a real translocator.
  4. Yep but would help being a fit translocator too instead of bother friends to move mammouth speakers.
  5. Yes and I do not have to move heavy amplifiers and disconnect and connect again dozens of cables, bother friends to move mammouth speakers.
  6. Yep, and I do not have fun anymore changing components in the system, I am only playing the records I own nowadays.
  7. In the last twenty years I traded my Audio Research pre amp with a used Linn Klimax pre amp, the tubed Manley phono with a solid state Burmester and the Wilson speakers for the Vivid Audio K1. I am done ten years ago. I had to buy a new mono cartridge one year ago because unfortunately I brooke the cantilever of the old one, the repair was too expensive.
  8. Sound a part, the Brinkmann is stylish like the Linn Kilmax amps and Kontrol pre amp, I am italian. Each his own "museum".
  9. Your memory about records is really impressive, I forgot even I had a record!
  10. Yes, I changed few things in my system, but I stay on the Brinkmann and Linn amps and CD player. About Ferrari and Maserati, there are a lot of nice used Toyotas and Lexus out there that is my ruote when I search records. BTW nice rig! I really like your Ikeda, the Japs are unbeatable on cartridges.
  11. Is it a Brinkmann?
  12. I agree, I am too old to loose my time looking for the best sounding of every records out there.
  13. BTW I paid a fair amount of $$$ to one of these big sellers down in LA for this one, never regret. You can't go wrong with a DuNann mono pressing.
  14. Inspired by this thread, original mono pressing. Can't imagine a better sounding issue.
  15. Collecting is collecting, it hasn't got anything to do with music, like a classic Porsche 911 of the sixties hasn't go anything to do with daily commuting. One collects things for itself, not for their functions.
  16. The last Giant of Hollywood, he was the first to want Dalton Trumbo back on credits despite McCarthyism, a brave man too. RIP.
  17. Love this one.
  18. One of these Zappa's records I found totally useless, a pure act of complacency, it goes straight on discogs.
  19. And then came down Mosaic...
  20. Tomatos don't grown well on stones.
