  7. Charlie Parker gets credit for this, but one time about 15 years ago I was speaking with Lou Donaldson and he said that Parker was not the true composer of "My Little Suede Shoes." Anyone know who the composer was?

  11. When this band was formed, it went under a different name at first. I'm sure someone here would know that answer.
  12. I moved my iTunes library to the new computer. Then I register the iPod on the new computer and tried to sync the iPod. Any new purchases gets synced but the tunes copied from the old computer don't sync to the iPod.
  13. Anyone know how to get an iPod to sync once you switched to a new computer? I copied all the music purchased from iTunes and I register my iPod on my new computer, but I can't get any of the old purchases/tunes to sync from the new computer.

  23. Now I know why the G man sounds so hip. It's growing up in the inner city of Seattle that did it. In many respects, where it took him was back to the beginning – the R&B of the early and mid-1970s that Kenny soaked up during his teen years at an inner-city Seattle high school, where he mixed with a culturally diverse student body at a young age. Inspired by the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire and Grover Washington Jr., he was only 17 when he landed a gig with Barry White and his Love Unlimited Orchestra at the Paramount Northwest Theater (now the Paramount Theater) in 1973.
  24. Yes, at 87 he does deserve to have some time to do other stuff. But I don't think Rudy would say it was work engineering all those sessions. "Make you vocation you vacation, and you'll never work a day in you life."
