  7. Anyone recall this show or know more about it? The discussion came up at lunch while talking to one of the security guards. In my office a lot of sites are blocked including youtube so I can't check. It appears to have aired weekly from the Newark's Mosque Theater. This is all I can dig up at the moment. But from what I was told at lunch, I would love to track down these shows.

  11. If you hold the CDs up to a light, do you see pin holes? I had one connoisseur from the early 90s that had this. I guess it is called fallout. I use to get this also on laser discs and it would sometimes skip that section.

  18. Anyone know what this is? There is a 1:20 second clip with Cannonball on Kung Fu. Having watched that show religiously as a kid, I don't ever recall seeing this. I know someone with the clip and I will ask for a copy, but has anyone here know anything more about it?
  19. Thanks. I will search the board.
  20. Has anyone every seen this program? There is one episode with Diz, Roach and Jackie McLean and another one with Sonny Rollins. Are these shows available anywhere? I've checked Amazon and some other sites, but I found nothing.

  22. OOPS! There goes about 90% of recorded jazz! You think it is that hi?
  23. I understand your point about filling gaps, but it is still taking revenue for the artists; plus maybe, in the case of Rollins, he didn't like his playing that night and this is being sold. The artists should represent how he is heard and immortalized to his fans and critics. That's my take on it.
  24. That would make sense in this case. Maybe the session never took place.
