  4. 1. Sounds to be a modern big band, but the pianist seems to be old school. Is it Earl Hines on piano? 2. No idea who is on alto or organ. 3. At first I thought this was going to be George Harrison on sitar. Within you, Without you. A wild guess, could it be Ted Nash on alto? 4. I like the guitar playing. No clue who this is at the moment. 5. Is this a Ron Carter trio session? I know I have this. I can't recall who this is. The mind isn't as sharp as you get older. 6. I like whomever this is on piano. I can't say I know who it is. 7. Ben Webster on tenor. More on this one later. 8. Is it Yusef Lateef on flute? More later.
  5. It is working now.
  6. Thom, the music stops on track 2. 1. Sounds to be a modern big band, but the pianist seems to be old school. Is it Earl Hines on piano?
  7. My comments are in red. That one is pretty much mind blowing, for the personnel on the track and for how well it comes off--better than some of these all star gatherings. I am really glad that you included this, and gave me a chance to hear it. Thank you for a fascinating Blindfold Test. I will look forward to your replies to my questions. I really wonder if some of these recordings are not from official releases and that you have treated us to some genuine rare recordings from unusual sources. The non official recordings I can send you a link to download them if you like.
