What I want to know is how do you get a job testing that product -
I think you've nailed it perfectly, Ted. Agreed. Good post, Ted.

If not wanting to get cracked over the head with a broken bottle or stampeded to death while trying to escape soccer hooligans makes me a wimp, then you can place my name at the top of the list. -
Taxes are done right after we get the W-2's from work.

Because GEE Dumbya needs a smoke screen for his failed Iraq War, housing/mortgage crisis and environmental gaffs. Bush is all about the cover not the reality. Gosh, didn't know Harry Waxman was on the Bush payroll as well! http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/12/14/...in3618383.shtml Thanks for revealing the latest asinine statement. It really is nice to know that the Democratic majority in the House is doing the President's bidding. Bush vetos everything, Dan. You know that.

Gosh, didn't know Harry Waxman was on the Bush payroll as well! http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/12/14/...in3618383.shtml I don't think one needs to be on the payroll to help the Bushites try to divert attention away from their failures and lies to the American people. They have done this time and again. It is comparable, I think, to Katherine Harris and the Florida election scam: Being a registered Demo does not keep someone from helping the Bushites.

Assuming, of course, they have lied.

They did a nice job because often its tough to make these edits "work" unless the person used a lot of "down" inflections. When you make a statement, you naturally speak with a down inflection - if there were "up" inflections, the edited sentences would sound off. But getting past the fun people have messing with his words, I saw on SI - or maybe it was ESPN, something no one else has seemed to notice - that when Wallace asked him whether he'd had contact before the Mitchell report, and he mentioned the email about fishing equipment. Roger said that he didn't say anything about "he was fixin' to bury me". Notice it wasn't "fixin' to lie about me to the Mitchell report". "Fixin' to bury me." Wouldn't we all agree that in common usage, "bury me" means "betray me" or something similar? So, if my football team is going to bury your football team....I'm planning to betray you? I think you're reading way too much into this, Dan.

A teacher at my has HS died and she was only 33. She had battled cancer for the last five years and it finally got the best of her on Sunday night. It was a horrible shock to all of us on staff and when we were given the news, the room fell completely silent. All of us knew she was sick, but we thought she was beating this thing because she was looking healthy and upbeat about Life. Today the shock has turned to depression and some of you may have seen some of that on a thread last night. I just needed to tell you all this because I am not very good at handling these types of feelings...especially when it hits so close to home. In short, I regret anything I wrote in the spur of the moment if it has caused BERIGAN any undo distress. It was a very tough day yesterday and I didn't handle it well. The loss of this excellent teacher is a tragedy to this campus and to this community....her students were my students as well and the reality is just beginning to sink in for all of us. I just needed you guys to know that. No responses are necessary and if you are inclined to pray, please do so for her family. Tim

I am very sorry for your friend, BERIGAN, and I sincerely pray for the end to his suffering. Sounds like it really sucks and I would never want to go through that myself. I am sorry. -

Clemens gets the benefit of the doubt, Bonds is automatically guilty. You watch.

Vick's Prison Sentence May Be Shortened OK, now anyone that didn't see this one coming stand on your head. Once again the celebrity gets the break while the regular working stiff would get hard time. Nice.

"The Seahawks had run up the score to 35-14...." Um...huh? How do you run up the score when the opposing QB keeps throwing the ball to your D-Backs? -
Cloudy and cool today. The infamous Tule Fog should be back next week. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Holy shit! I thought it just made their heads big!! More of a figure of speech. Testes shrink (yet more proof that Bonds had to know what he was using or he'd have run to his doctor in a heartbeat) but when it comes to displays of extreme arrogance, shrinking testicles didn't stop Bonds from being the same a-hole he's been his entire life. Now we'll see whether Clemens measures up. OK. Let me see if I got this straight: If Bonds runs to his doctor, his testicles have shrunk. If he doesn't run to his doctor his testicles have shrunk. Therefore, he had to be using steriods and Clemens has Bonds sized balls. And you want to see if he will measure up? I swear, that has to be the funniest damn thing I have read about Bonds in a year! Yer killin' me, Dan Maybe Senator Mitchell should have interviewed a urologist.
