Rain, beautiful rain.

Well, Leake opts for the big paycheck: Cards get Leake. Now, I guess the focus will be on landing Alex Gordon. Ouch.

Thanks for the info, Scott. I feel better now. Maybe a return to the NL will spark him back to form. Now all we need is a solid LFer.

I hope he works out for my guys. Since the Giants let Petit go we needed another man in the rotation. Jake Peavy is just too spotty to be a full-time starter, IMHO.

Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe, California. Taken by my Son today; 1st ski trip of the season. Woot! -
That's what we've been hearing, too. I'm still bummed about Aoki, though. He was a good fit in Giants-land.

Rain...can you believe it? California's 5th storm so far this season. That's more than all of the last four years combined. Bring on the rain!

Well, Giants get some pitching help....I hope: Jeff Samardzija. His numbers aren't real impressive, but I understand he is a 200 innings a year type guy. Now maybe the Giants go after Zobrist to fill the LF gap left by Aoki [a guy I really wish they kept].

Sounds like good advice. TBH, I love the history of the buildings and such in a city, but the shoreline cliffs and scenery of the inland intrigue me the most. -

Thank you. Yours are as well. Next chance I get I want to visit Ireland, Scotland and Britain and see the other half of my heritage. I understand the beauty is just stunning. -

When we were in Prague we caught the last night of the Festival of Light. While in Budapest, we cruised the Danube with the all the buildings lit up. Absolutely spectacular! -
