Hey Scott....saw your Royals last Friday in Oakland. Volquez was pitching and just plan handcuffed the A's. A rather, um...inebriated Royals fan was getting a bit obnoxious, so helpful guy that I am, I reminded him that he is in Oaktown. These may not be rabid Raiders fans, but they can get a little feisty at times. Best to tone it down just a tad. Lo' and behold, come the late innings the locals were getting a smidge testy...and he finally shut up. Real good ting...self preservation-wise Across the Bay in ATT, however, things were a tad mellower on Saturday. Giants won and everybody but the very polite Rockies fans went home happy.

Well...my neighbor and I are off for the Bay Area to take in an A's game tomorrow night and a Giants game on Saturday afternoon. Taking advantage of an unusual situation where both teams are in town the same week. Cool.

Steady... The season isn't even close to the halfway point. Your boys are 3.5 games back, 3 games over .500, and would be in the wild card game today. Now, I may just be a lowly "ballot stuffing" Royals fan (we all are, according to the media), but I seem to recall your Giants making out pretty well from the wild card spot last year. My boys haven't been playing well lately, and I've had to endure ledge jumpers throughout our recent slump. But, you know as well as I do, this shit happens over the course of the MLB season. Never get too high, never get too low. Still a long, LONG way to go. And to put it bluntly, your boys are just fine, so just stop it. You're welcome. OK, Boss. Giants won 6-2 today. Thanks Tim, that is kind to say. I'm not into Finnish really but I do watch Skandinavian series, mostly detectives but I need some, English or Dutch subtitles to follow what is going on exactly. TBH, I just pulled Finland off the top of my head to use as an example. I am certain we would butcher the Danish language, too.
