  1. Any Seattle shows in the near future, Phil? I know it's probably hard to get herd all those cats into one room, but here's hopin'!
  2. Update: Hiroshi @ early records was able to get them both for a very good price. Why didn't I think of that in the first place???!!!
  3. Hell, I still call them "records" in the CD era!
  4. Craigs list, baby! Not sure where you are in AR, but check this out: http://littlerock.craigslist.org/cgi-bin/s...=min&maxAsk=max
  5. Well, YMMV--I really enjoy this side. No, JOS ain't the best singer, but when he sticks to the organ it's good and the arrangements aren't bad either. Is it essential? No, and it's probably a bit of a "product of it's time" (i.e. pop through the eyes of jazz in the late 60's), but I really like it. I got mine new for twelve bucks, a good deal to me. I say go for it.
  6. Yup, his service is terrific... Lon, da bastids are sadly out of the CD... Thanks for the suggestion, though!
  7. Thanks--didn't know that site existed--it's cool! These appear to be available in Japan, so I emailed Hiroshi at early records. Who knows? Still happy to find something from a board member, though!
  8. Wow. This will be a bankbuster! Only thing I already have is Andrew!!!. Could hold out hope to find Brooklyn on wax, but...nah, I'll pick it up as well. Nice, nice, nice list of rarities.
  9. Hey all-- I've been looking for these for a while, and had great hopes that Verve was releasing Respect Tuesday, but alas...both are only available for download. Any chance anyone's got copies of these they'd like to part with? Thanks.
  10. Endorsement enough! Thanks, guys!
  11. BN has released a couple of Adderley sides--Domination (with Oliver Nelson's orchestra ) and Money in the Pocket, a live side with his band at The Club in Chicago. What do y'all think of these? Should I pick them up? Thanks.
  12. Whoa. Thanks for posting this.
  13. Bennie Green, "Soul Stirrin." Original wax. This has to be in my top 10 blue note releases. What a record.
  14. Happy birthday, Soulstream!
  15. Life's too short to pontificate.
  16. Into the office, into the computer. Yeah, baby--I'm completely diggin' it. Can't wait to put it on at home tonight. We've got a friend visiting from Philadelphia and she will also appreciate the greazzzzze... Can't wait to listen more closely. The time signatures have got me dancin' in my office chair!!!
  17. Dude. Totally fixed. Super speedy. Thanks!
  18. I actually think that's the problem. I opened up the "status bar" at the bottom of the screen, and sure enough, when it's hanging up, says, right now, for example, "downloading atb_help.gif at www.organissimo.net". Takes a long time, then moves on to atb_search, and sure enough, red X's. Eventually it "gives up" and moves on. I bet once that's solved, this "hanging" will be solved.
  19. Super slow loading, the board hanging, or loading halfway and hanging (this from either a) the front page of the forums or b) the "View new posts" link; red X's where buttons should be, red X's where avatars should be, red X's where images in posts should be...
  20. Same problems here--IE 6.0.2900.2180, Windows XP, always-on T-3.
  21. Still waiting in Seattle...impatiently!
  22. Thus the ! I would definitely have that look on my face if I were behind the wheel. So much engine and no body weight. Damn. The mind boggles! Have you driven a supercharged version?
  23. All right! Thanks for the shots, Tony! Great stuff. I can't remember the last time I saw a TRV in the states. Would love to take this one for a spin!
