Dave Brubeck's "Pick up Sticks" at the end of Time Out! That's guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and if the song doesn't, Morello's guffaw at the end of the track will!
Ed, I'm not sure if you're trying to hold it to jazz, or what you've got in your collection, but for times like what you're describing, I'll never be without De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising:
All the best to you...
"This is My Song" by Carbon Leaf--it's got a great quasi-celtic opening riff that I can't GET OUT OF MY HEAD, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
Brandon, my original (I'm pretty sure) DG copy has "767 Lexington Ave NYC" (in "script") on the labels and "767 Lexington Ave., New York 21" on the bottom middle of the back cover.
Does this help?
PJ
OMG! I'm listening to it right now.
This song rocks! On closer listen, I don't know how I didn't know this was the four tops!
waka-waka-chikka-chikka-waka-waka-chikka-chikka-waka-waka-chikka-chikka!
Heard a song with this lyric on the radio the other day. Sounded like the Ojays, or Harold Melvin (at one point I thought it was the song "Backstabbers").
Also had the words, "That's not a street that you can walk...they're out to get you."
Any guesses?
Thanks!
(Edited to add more lyrics!)
