From what I've heard here, I wouldn't buy any of Ms. Rios' recordings, but I agree that there are a lot of lame singers out there. Perhaps we need a thread entitled contemporary jazz singers who aren't pitiful. I should also say that I don't have a problem with anyone who is new to these forums speaking their mind. As far as I know, there's not a waiting period here where you have to walk on eggshells so as not to offend anyone.
