  5. Thanks. I'm getting there.
  6. As far as knighthood goes, Keith Richards had a good line when asked if he'd accept a knighthood (not that he's ever be considered): "I wouldn't let anyone from that family near me with a sharp stick - let alone a sword".
  7. I guess I'm in a minority of one here. I listened to the boot again this morning and compared it with my mono RCA LP original of Our Man in Jazz (bought shortly after it was issued) and a Classics stereo LP reissue. The boot sounds decent (somewhat bloated sound, to my ears), but not up to the standards of the others. Mileages vary, I guess.
  8. I've been a little under the weather, and haven't had the energy to read something substantial, so this is it right now. Entertaining at least, even if somewhat padded and redundant.
  9. I emailed Scott Wenzel a few weeks ago about the possibility of Mosaic doing a box of the Sonny Rollins band with Don Cherry (assuming that Sonny and RCA/BMG would agree) in good sound - unlike the bootleg set that came out a couple of years ago. He said that he'd pass the suggestion along, but I doubt that anything will happen.
  10. Cool! I didn't know the uke (and someone playing it) could do that. Now I do.
