  2. Thanks for the good words/wishes. I'll actually be celebrating my birthday tomorrow. I know my wife has a J.J.Sempe book to give me - one of my favorite artists - always think of Guy/brownie when I look at Sempe's drawings. Thanks again to all.
  3. Duke Jordan: Flight to Jordan (Savoy/SJ reissue) Hadn't listened to this in over ten years. I remembered Larry Kart praising it highly a while back, & decided to give a listen. The trio sides are very fine - perhaps my favorite Duke Jordan.
  4. I had a similar thing happen. Somehow one LP from my Complete Charlie Parker Savoy Sessions box ended up missing. I searched and searched, never found it, and ended up buying a used copy of the box to replace the one LP. Hope you find your copy of the Johnny Smith.
