  7. Order a Mexican beer anywhere in Arizona and it comes with a lime wedge on stuck in the top of the bottle whether you like it or not. I've seen that in other western states as well. Although it always seems to be in Mexican restaurants and with Mexican beer. I for one do not like it. And Corona is dog piss. I hate that shit. The times that I did have to drink it I always seemed to get heartburn. Very popular with the ladies and frat boys though.

  12. Congratulazioni Italia! I didn't watch much of the game if any, but did fly the colors and participate in the fun. There are major celebrations in the Italian neighborhoods of Brooklyn and here in Queens.
  13. I'm grilling some sausage and peppers sandwiches tomorrow if anybody wants to drop by. I've got 5 lbs of Faicco's best.

  17. I've not had any contact with her for several months, but think she is probably fine. She was having to devote more time to work. It's about time for me to hit one of my favorite bars in her hood. I'll drop her a line.
  18. So you grilled 'em after cooking them in the oven? Is that a common practice? Don't they start to fall apart on the grill? Do you remove that membrane thingy on the back? I'll have to try that, sounds good! Yep. It's the first time I ever tried it this way. Normally I would just grill from start to finish. From what I understand this is a common practice for many restaurants that feature ribs on the menu but do not have the ability to slow cook for hours and hours. And yes, they can come apart if you're not careful. I had only a minor probelm with one of the slabs. I used a large spatula and tongs to handle them from the plate to the grill and visa versa. The guy at the butcher shop did me a solid and removed the membrane.
  19. Good idea, but already planned on doing up some zucchini.
  20. In the next few days I will lay a flower at his grave from all of us here at the org board.
