The rain has stopped. Which makes it easier to listen to this one. Re-listening to “Part 2” of this concert as I was a bit distracted by questions about kitchen colors and textures from my wife when it was last playing.

"Photon" is a nice composition, more "straight ahead" than most of the material within that album, so that and its length may be the reason it was not included in the original release--certainly the quality of music and performance are not lacking.

I pulled this box set out to listen to it as my best friend just got it and it is fun to be listening to it again as he experiences it for the first time.
I love Jarrett. . . through the years . . . I never tire of his solo concerts and trio work.
