“Monk Big Band and Quartet in Concert” Columbia/High Density Tape Transfer cdr
600×600 113 KB
This is an interesting version of this material. Here’s the source according to the “label”
Recording Info: Transferred from a Columbia 4-track tape
It’s the content of the original LP and only the original LP, but it includes the edits removed for the original LP. Sound is quite nice.
If I could just have one Mingus box set I think it would be the Debut--such varied material, great music.
Luckily, I can have all the Mingus box sets. A better situation.

I have the cd version. Mastering is very good.
I hadn't thought about this. I wonder if it's a case of "demand." I do know some jazz fans who. . .wouldn't wear a t-shirt of a jazz artist. They dress a little bit more. . .refined.
Myself, I appreciate a good t-shirt with printing but so much more often I wear a plain colored t-shirt of which I have a spread of colors available. When I have a really nice printed t-shirt, such as the four Uniquo that I have. . . I worry about harming the printing in use or washing. I find I don't wear them as often as I imagine I would when I buy them.

"Chet Baker Trio – Live In Paris: The Radio France Recordings 1983-1984" Elemental Music 2 cd set, disc 2
Of all the releases of RSD material the last few years this is among my favorites, along with this year's Chet Baker release.
Just relaxed and soothing playing in decent sound.
The Mel Powell Trio “Bouquet” Vogue 2 LP set, LP 1

J & K “Stonebone” RSD reissue
Bought this for “Free” and postage during the sale Sound of Vinyl had that ended days ago. Not essential, but some nice solos.
"Citadel," Prime Video. Over-the-top of the top, but. . . Priyanka. That voice. . .an important part of her appeal to me. She's why I'm going to watch this one to the end.
