Sports: 2006 NBA Play-Off Pool

So now you are accepting Clips because they are from LA?? I like the Clips because they are such an underdog and Phoenix has too many chinks in their armor this year. Clips will prevail tonight. -

SECOND ROUND SO FAR DET in 6 - they won in 7 = 10+3 points = 13 pts. Miami in 6 - they won in 5 = 10+3 points = 13 pts. So I now have 65 plus the additional 26 pts totaling a big 91 points I also have Clips in 7 and Spurs in 7 (I just might pick up another 30 points tonight) Phoenix has shot their wad long live the Clips :bwallace2: -

Seems to me even if only one camera angle "caught" the punch, then it is still a punch. -

Geezus, who pissed in your Corn Flakes this morning? No animosity there, you just seem to be completely convinced that there was no punch when "everybody" else saw it. peace, -

SS1, yeah we are nervous as hell. Pistons are blowing it big time. If they lose, they are going to disappear and leave all the explanations to Saunders. If they win, they will be lucky and should not puff out their chests, which they will do. You are one blind man in absolute denial. Yeah Al, look at the tape and be a man. Terry "punched" Finley where it hurts.... -

Noj has to be included in that "everybody watch the game" request. That would be the loudest crowd watching a game ever. Can you imagine the diffefence of opinions flying with each basket?? Wow, that would be fun. Oh well, I can tell you that I will be GLUED to my plasma HDTV. go Pistons -

Big Ben's way of letting Sheed know he talks too much on camera. Probably letting Coach know he needs to reign Sheed in also. -

Damn, I can't believe I am in TOTAL agreement with Noj. How about that! But you are ABSOLUTELY right, Pistons cannot afford to get in tiffs with the refs, they need to stay focused and kick some butt. It is now at WIN OR GO HOME (to stay) for the Pistons. I also think the NBA would love to have LeBron vs. Shaq and Wade for the conference finals. -

What the hell is Coach Dunleavy thinking????? He and his staff should have known about the time left at that crucial timeout. Livingston had already received the ball inbounds and took a dribble. AND why the guys who had not played all game are in the game at the very end AND why didn't they let Phoenix have a 2 point shot and guard the line against a 3???? AND the refs STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. Livingston never stepped out of bounds on that crucial play and the ref was standing right there......... CLIPS were robbed again...WTF -

It didn't. Sheed opened his big mouth again and said there was no way the Cavs could win the series. HELLO, they just kicked your asses the last two games. Having said that and all things being equal, the Cavs just cannot weather a long series. Lebron cannot continue to be a winning one man show just like Kobe couldn't. Varajoe has probably had his shot because now the Pistons know who he is and will shut him down. Lebron has the ball in his hands too much for this to continue. :bwallace2: -

Let me reiterate on that: Shawn Marion's jumper is HIDEOUS! Let Isiah deal with the mess he created. Now, back to the playoffs. I do not take partiuclar joy in saying "I told you so" but I did make that statement way back when LB first went to the Knicks; to wit: Larry Brown is going to pull the same bullshit he did with the Pistons. The difference this time is that he did not "teach" anyone anything and they did not want to listen. I also said Larry Brown should go back to college if that is his view of the NBA (likes to teach). He is going to get a buy out of about 40 million bucks. That is ridiculous. He should not even be allowed to have a buy out clause in his contract, given his history. Larry Brown stinks, is a whiner, and a drama queen. AND the drama has not really started yet.. You'll see. :bwallace2: -

19 year old out at 3 a.m. gets shot riding with someone who was already shot at a week prior. His last name was Francis, I had previously thought it was about Steve Francis, pro guard. Good question, regardless of LBJ, Pistons should have spanked their asses, instead they turned butt up for their own ass kicking. LBJ gets triple double to add to insult. I agree with the no energy observation. They seemed to be waiting until it was "necessary" to switch that button, AND IT DID NOT WORK. I thought they learned their lesson last year. MAYBE they just want to win it at home in game 5???? :bwallace2: -

Cassell is the only one who can lead them through a 4th quarter playoff game, not Livingston. However, Livingston is a great complement to Cassell playing together. Mobley probably should not handle the ball late in the 4th, just shoot. CAVS put one on the Pistons today. I don't usually say much about the refs, but today, damn, they were in the CAVS corner. LB made sure about the game anyway. Caught a glimpse of someone (only saw last name) named Francis on the sports wire at the bottom of the ESPN screen at the end of the game, shot and killed in Louisiana or Florida or something. Anybody see this or know anything about it?? -

Coach Dunleavy seems to be still learning who to have in game near end at crucial moments. It would seem the guys that obtained the lead for the Clippers late in the game are the same guys who should be finishing the game. Clippers could be up 2-1
