Jimmy Reed: Blues Is My Business

Masahiko Sato----Palladium----(EMI/ Far East Jazz Series) Jpn.

This is the back cover to this reissue of a very fine session. The version of John and Paul's  Michelle sounds superb , which says something as i'm all but allergic to jazz covers of Beatles tunes.

Agree about the Beatles tune. I'm a non-believer when it comes to them so I usually steer clear as much as possible

Jones/Kikuchi-----------Hollow Out-------------(Philips Jpn)

Elvin at his finest, percussive date and then some. Kikuchi and Gene Perla also knock the stuffing out of their instruments .Thanks Mark (mjazzg) for pointing me in the direction of this one.
