It also came out as:

Cawanda and His Group - Taboo - Promenade (I have this in mono)

and

Sabu and his Jungle Percussionists - Jungle Percussion - Clarity (I have this one in mono too.)  This is apparently not THEE Sabu.  

 

I was incorrect about the Sabu album in my previous post.  I just played it.  It is a separate session, but also one that was released under multiple titles by multiple artists.

I also played the Duke Ellington record that my Dad wrote and told the story of how it came to be recorded.

I recently picked up the title above "Modern Mainstream" by Dave Bailey only to find that I had all the tracks on the album below by Tommy Flanagan !!! Mastering is very different. The Fontana is smoother and darker. The Onyx issue has always sound a bit rough to me. Hard to choose.

 

I'll try not to forget it has also been released under Kinny's name too...

Tadd Dameron - The Magic Touch - Riverside (stereo, OJC reissue).  Does anyone know when this album is from?  My copy doesn't have any dates.  I assume very late 1950s or very early 1960s.

Early 1960s - 1961 I think. Not too long before Dameron passed away.
