Harold Vick - Don't Look Back (Strata-East)
I took the leap and plopped for the Pure Pleasure reissue of this LP.  It arrived in the mail today (from Dusty Groove), and I'm giving it a first spin right now.  :D

The LP version of the Oliver Jackson abounds here in NYC; there are dead/old stock copies that should run you about five bucks.

Must not be selling on discogs.  All from Europe now, discogs and one copy on eBay. I'll keep watching though.

CHARLES MINGUS: BLUES & ROOTS. ATLANTIC 50 232 [1976]

I remember those Atlantic covers with the "window type" image. This was in the 70´s , right. Great music, one of my first Mingus albums.

Tasty...and costly

Did Harry Beckett ever make a bad album? This one eluded me for years - never saw it for sale in Mole etc. so can only assume that it disappeared pretty fast after issue. Damn shame that it was never reissued on CD.

So - table tennis is out and cricket is in? :D

I'd love to see Han Bennink playing cricket. After all I've seen him play most other things including his boots, the stage floor and QEH walls :D

Neither did his Oguns, did they? I should pick the LPs up really

No, I don’t think the Harry Beckett Oguns were ever issued on CD. I have one of them.

Saw Han Bennink on a couple of occasions with ICP - he did some good solos on the walls of the club !
