and you only have to get up from your seat once. Less exercise though

I wish they reissued as 33rpm, though 45rpm is better sounding I am definitely a conservative about records.

Still not in my collection, but not for long.

bought a mono copy for fairly cheap years ago; little groove wear on the end of side two (last cut) but most of the record is unharmed. Fine date though I guess my fascination with Hill heads in other directions.

Imagine, Dave Liebman was one of the first musicians I heard in the 70. Since then he fascinates me. This record has a special meaning for me. Dave signed it for me. Wonderful tunes Goli Dance, Loft Dance, and a really fantastic version of Coltrane´s "Your Lady". .......

And topnotch musicians, almost an allstar band of the 70´s

That's my favorite A.H.  I'll take it any day over Point of Departure.

You and me both. ;)

Yes.  And Eugene Gregan's cover art is brilliant as well.

And I got mine signed by Dave Liebman ! Long time ago, the occasion was when I heard his band with Terumaso Hino, John Scofield, Ron McLure and Adam Nussbaum and imagine: JOHN SCOFIELD led me to Dave so I could meet him.

Really? I don't appreciate the stereo separation of Atlantic too much.

Doesn’t bug me too much - probably because I am so used to hearing stereo Atlantic and immune to it. Having said that, by far the best ‘Giant Steps’ I have heard is the mono UK first release on the London label.

:tup I have a terrific semi-self produced Francis album with John Neves and Joe Hunt.

I have that one too. Great date. One of our U.K. members (mjazzg perhaps?) also has a copy. With c-t's, probably the only four copies to be found on the Organissimo forums.

I see that that whole album, "Jazz Bohemia Revisited," is on YouTube.
