adh1907 Posted December 12, 2023 Report Posted December 12, 2023 In Person, Jimmy Giuffre Quartet. From the Ed Dipple collection! Mono second edition. Sounds great, one of my favourite Giuffre records. Buell Neidlinger is constantly interesting. I see Billy Osborne on drums went into v different areas, Tavares and LTD. Quote

It was a postal paper based auction, like the old Mole Jazz auctions (which I took part in a lot in the 90s). Pre eBay I guess so at least 20 years ago. I acquired a few records through the auction. The Giuffre and some Shorty Rogers on Atlantic. None of them are pristine, but well loved I like to think. Quote

Funnily enough, my very first second hand LP, a Miles twofer, was purchased from Ed at his home address from a typed list, possibly his first and before the Mole shop. No longer have the LPs but still have the list ! Edited December 12, 2023 by sidewinder Quote
