Wynton Kelly Piano, Riverside 12-254 original large blue label DG, mono. Possibly the greatest Wynton session, with Kenny Burrell .

Yesterday : Jimmy Heath The Thumper, Riverside12-314, original DG small label, mono. Not exactly my favourite Heath session...

Johnny Pate Subtle Sounds, Gig GLP 100, black label DG (original ? ) with Ronnell Bright on piano !!

Dave Pell octet :"Jazz and romantic places" Atlantic 1216, black label DG. I like everything on this session : Nice songs, fine arrangements by Marty Paich, Jack Montrose and others, with so many things to hear in so short songs, brilliant soloing, including Bob Gordon and Don Fagerquist. And a sublime art cover. Overall : :tup :tup :tup :tup :tup :tup :tup
