CD titles

I'm sure you have all seen cd titles that you get a kick out of. You may not like the music but you may get a kick out of or otherwise dig the title. One title that I like is Chris Thile's "All Who Wander Are Not Lost".

My all-time fave album titles remain "More Songs About Buildings and Food" (Talking Heads) and "Bad Music for Bad People" (The Cramps). But some good jazz titles come to mind...

Mingus Ah Um/Charles Mingus

Years ago, when I bought this cd from a Wherehouse Records, the girl behind the counter saw the title and exclaimed, "I have weird nightmares!"

Fortunately for her I was familiar with the Hal Wilner Mingus tribute by that name, or else my response would have been along the lines of, "Do you analyze them?"

Should've said that anyway. I always think of good comebacks about 5 minutes after the fact...
