How can someone post that's Unregistered?

Looking at some of the old threads and I came across a number of threads started by Unregistered users. How is this done?

They are people who have been banned, I believe. If you find GregM's posts, or Musicboy, you'll find their posts but they aren't registered users, I don't think.

Or with a small handful of unregistered users, someone died (two cases that I know of, though one is open to some question), and Jim probably closed their accounts.

Just two that I can think of, or have there been more???

Yes, unless it's due to death or banning, I don't see how you can do it.

In short, it means that the user's account/login was closed for some reason.

I have not been banned (yet ) or dead but already have a few messages with my name on it that say I'm unregistered.

The story goes like this:

1. I used to have a different user name

2. Wanted to change my username but was to lazy to ask b3-er 'bout it.

3. Opened a new user name.

4. b3-er caught me.

5. He deleted my new username (it's the unregistered one, I made several posts with it) and changed my regular username to the one I wanted.

6. Thanks again b3-er!
