SEK Posted March 27, 2005 Report Posted March 27, 2005 I chose bagels and lox (bagel toasted, with cream cheese or butter), because superior examples of both are very hard to find around here. Another classic combination is tomatoes and fresh basil. I look forward to summer, when a salad of tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil, garlic, red pepper, and fresh mozzarella is more readily available. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted March 27, 2005 Report Posted March 27, 2005 I was inspired to start this thread when I raided the easter basket my wife brought home from work. So I voted for bagels and lox. Now that's a creepy basket if it has liver & onions in it! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 I voted for "other" since my choice influenced by Dan's poll is pastrami and rye - mustard is just an added flavor to this combo. Second choice is the choc/pnb filtered through a peanutbutter cup. All praise to the Carnegie Deli and the Reese's folks. Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 Wife and chocolate syrup. Give it a try! Who's wife? Michael Douglas's wife. YEAH! Oh wait... my wife sometimes reads this board. DOH! My favorite float combo is grape soda and vanilla ice cream. Or some sort of flavored syrup (that you use on pancakes... like blueberry or strawberry) and vanilla ice cream. I have never tried chocolate ice cream and orange soda, but I'm willing to give it a shot! Who's serving? Quote
