I havent seen any of the other Marvel series installments so I don't know how it measures up, but as a standalone this is a good watch and the music picks are stellar. I agree. 😎 2 hours ago, HutchFan said: Season 1 One of the best shows on television IMO. You need to watch all of the seasons. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted April 18 Posted April 18 My wife and I used to really like the show "Elsbeth" on CBS. But it has gotten ridiculously repetitive. Even worse, the mysteries are always "insta-solved". The latest one we watched, she gleamed the murderer in less than 30 seconds. I know we're supposed to believe that Elsbeth is very good at detecting, but this one was absolutely insane - the husband had already confessed to the murder. Quote

I liked the Elspeth character on The Good Wife so I watched the show a few times when it began. I burned out on it pretty quickly because the format tells you the solution up front and then you are left to watch Elspeth masterfully - or painfully and transparently after a few disappointing episodes - figure out the solution to the mystery. Tada! Quote
Dub Modal Posted April 18 Posted April 18 My girlfriend likes Elsbeth. But it's definitely the same show over and over again. I think she likes the character as well as the famous guest stars that show up. Quote
jazzbo Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) I like Elsbeth. It's definitely the character, which I have enjoyed since "The Good Wife," though now she's become Sherlock Holmes in many ways, and i enjoy how she is somewhat like Sherlock and Columbo combined. It's a fun show. . . I like fun shows to escape within. Edited April 18 by jazzbo Quote
