Alfred
John William Hardy and Jon Horwich are responsible for so many great recording sessions. They recorded Dennis Budimir, Frank Foster, Warne Marsh (Ne plus ultra), Clare Fischer or Frank Strazzeri, among others. This music deserved to be reissued as a Mosaic - would be a great set. What about a tiny little SELECT with some highlights of this excellent label?!

J.A.W.
What Chuck said (he beat me to it... )
JSngry
Not exactly a concept worth staying up past midnight for, but a set of Claire Fisher's PJ & Revelation albums wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
jazzbo
I think the PJs are due to be a Select. . . .
Chuck Nessa
I think the PJs are due to be a Select. . . . That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.
jazzbo
Okay, but it does supplement with information something that Jim mentioned that may or may not have had anything to do with the thread.
mikeweil
They recorded ....., Frank Foster, ...... Gary Foster, that is.
J.A.W.
I think the PJs are due to be a Select. . . . Still off topic: only his PJ trio album First Time Out will be included in the Mosaic Select.
Alfred
Frank Foster? What mikeweil said! Tangled ownership(s) make a Mosaic unlikely. Well, I said it from time to time and I say it again: I love my record player!
jazzbo
Okay. (If this were pertinent, I would wonder what else is in that set!)
J.A.W.
Okay. (If this were pertinent, I would wonder what else is in that set!) Lon, The set will include Pacific Jazz piano trio recordings. Clare Fischer, Russ Freeman, Jimmy Rowles were mentioned. There's a thread about it somewhere, maybe in the Mosaic or "Reissues" forum. jazzbo
Okay, I thought I read mention that the Fisher larger ensemble works (nice stuff!) were to be given their own Select. . . . I may have just been dreaming. . . .
JSngry
Well, as long as you're dreaming, dream of a Fisher Mosaic of the PJ and Revelation sides. Can't hurt nuthin'!
jazzbo
Yes, I've had worse dreams. But they have nothing to do with this thread. . .
JSngry
Then dream about a Clare Fisher Mosaic that's only released on 78s. Voila - SYNERGY!
Brad
I'm not too familiar with the people Alfred mentioned. Are they producers/engineers or label owners and what's the label. Sorry for the dumb questions.
