Aggie87
.....so, I'm sitting there leafing through the newest Downbeat (November 06, w/Christian McBride, DJ Logic, & ?uestlove on the cover). Ahhh, there's the advertisement from Blue Note for some of their current/upcoming releases. Let's see, yeah, down on the bottom there's a blurb about the current RVG's. Check. Don Byron's Junior Walker tribute? Check. Jason Moran's "Artist in Residence"? Check. Joe Lovano's "Streams of Expression"? Check. Oh yeah, and last but not least, Steforn Harris's "African Tarantella".
David Ayers
Has anybody actaully SEEN a defective issue (as opposed to website or printed publicity copy)? Or is this more virtual than reality?
sidewinder
Has anybody actaully SEEN a defective issue (as opposed to website or printed publicity copy)? Or is this more virtual than reality? Yes, they were out there. I bought a copy for my 'curios' shelf.
Alexander Hawkins
I can't help but feel that the placing of that 'one of the greatest musicians in jazz history' quote is ever so slightly disingenuous...
clifford_thornton
Don't forget that original LP copies of My Point of View featured "Gracham" Moncur III on trombone...
