He's comin' to Austin next week....was hoping he'd have Willie Weeks on bass. That's who I kind of REALLY wanted to see. Not a big Sco fan, so probably won't make it if Weeks ain't there.

But, if Organissimo was opening, I'd damn sure go! Congrats again, you guys are on a well deserved roll.

Willie Weeks is da man!!! Damn, his playing on Donny Hathaway's Live album is unbelievable!!!

Jim, Joe, and Randy are safely situated at this very moment, 11:03 p.m., in their Buffalo hotel. Just spoke with Jim. He has a fairly bad cold (or worse), with a very sore throat (can barely talk). But Jim will step up to the plate tomorrow night. He is one tough dude. Randy and Joe are giddy. Well Joe is pretty calm, but I could tell he was giddy on the inside. Anyhow, The VanDyck tomorrow night.

I will tell the fellas you guys are happy for them re: the Sco gig.

The fellas could use some words of encouragement as they tackle the road. I will playing a gig at a casino this weekend so I wont be back till late Sunday. But will update then.

Btw, Sco is one bad mofo. The fellas respect him immensely. It will be a nicely balanced and exciting bill all around.

Hey Greg, can you post their itenerary up? Didn't even know they were gone at this point. It'd be nice to keep tabs while they're out.... And, it wouldn't be "being on the road" UNLESS you had a cold! :g

Jim just put that cool calender up on the front or home page. Point your mouse to the date in question and bam... pretty neat.

Sco opener is comin up fast. Fellas only have one short set, so get there early.

Should prove to be quite a big night.

Opening for Scofield, huh?

Considering that recent thread, you might want to come up with a definitive statement on taping and distribution, and possibly post armed guards to make sure the Sco fans don't decide for themselves that your music in their air is free game.
