Did they really have buildings like that in 1913!?

It's the old Polo Grounds in New York, which has quite a storied history to it. The bluff behind the stands that you can see is the famous Coogan's Bluff. Of course, everything connected with New York baseball is "legendary."

When I got my new computer a few weeks ago, of course, the desktop background didn't fit because the screen is a different shape to the old one (it's 1366x768 now). SO I messed around with a couple of pics which I alternate, according to mood.
