I just wanted to say hello, it's been a while since I posted and whenever I've taken a bit of time off, I always come back with a longer bit of a ramble about my goings on.

I moved home to Delaware County after living right off Temple's campus for a while fighting to make ends meet. Still working for the music and arts retail company.

The folks gave me a year to get some plans in place and get to the next step. It's proving to be a little harder than I've expected, but I've come a long way.

I've gotten back on the trumpet again consistently for the first time in a year. I've started to sit it again on jam sessions(alright, last night was the first time in a while) It was fun cuz I was playing in front of some co workers, and my parents, whom haven't seen me perform in quite a while.

I want to say I miss posting here, especially after meeting Jim, Randy, and Joe in Philly last year, along with some others Ron and Kirby. I'm going to start checking in here from time to time to see say hello and see what I can get into.

I think Philly folks should think about seeing Pat Martino March 9th at Chris' Jazz Cafe on Sansom St. It's part of their Guitar Fest. I know Kurt Rosenwinkel and so other cats are going to be out for it, but I saw Pat play there in December and it was magical.

Any hoos just wanted to say hi.

Peace, Bill

Thanks to all the 'welcome backs'.. I just got back from Chris' Cafe and learned that Pat Martino will NOT in fact be playing next Sunday night for some reason. Something about him not able to play two gigs close to each other geographically within a certain amount of time.

I think that was the gist I got from the general manager..Is that something common? <_< I was looking forward to Pat, I was gonna go with my folks for dinner that night.

Kurt Rosenwinkel will be that previous Friday and Saturday night so any BBer's in the Philly area should come out.

Gonna hit up Ortliebs tomorrow night for another jam..

PEACE :tup
