don't know if there's any demand for this these days but since I am up and working again on re-mastering, I am willing to transfer LPS to CDR with a pass through CEDAR, which gets, usually, about 90 percent or more of the noise out (and actually improves the sound if used judiciously). Will transfer that LP on an audiophile turntable through a great tube pre-amp, sequence it and put it on a CDR for $25 shipped (assuming you use one of those record boxes). I have done work for Rhino, Shout, Sony, Global Village, Venus (the Japanese label) and more, not to mention the various reissues I have produced myself. Prefer paypal - email me at alowe5@maine.rr.com

you guys i am NOT COOL with having these dual speed tables that you have to use a special part of the COMPUTER PROGRAM to digitally speed up the song from 45 rpm--->78 of them.......half-speed mastered my foot: this is INTOLERABLE.

is it physcially not possible or crappy sound for the other speeds, if they were to produce one w/ all three speeds., you know, all those modern ones the kids get today, only have 331/3 and 45 settings.

my solid state late 60s import pannosonic hi-fi is long gone, i can no longer listen to 16 2/3 rpm mood music records and an 8-Tracks on the same piece of equipment :(

you know the truth??? id prob. be even too lazy if i had it to utilize the 78 feature, i bet it would take me 10 years to make 1 "chewy 78 rpm cd-boxed set". It will include live chicgao airchecks off WOR preserved on acetate disc (hell whatdo I have to save it for, ill spin that platter no prob), it will also include Enrico Caruso on Victorla, which i guess is the precurcur to RCA Victor, which in turn led to RCA, which in turn led to Dynaflex...what they lost in dynaflex, they totally made up for in 1984:

i encourge all who enjoy sight and sound, to check out this piece of modern mastery. THIS you guys, is THE, i mean THE... most space age piece of equipment you have EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE. I know: because I've EXPIERENCED IT! since you guys have been around, i wanna ask you: have and of YOU, ever had the exiperience of piloting this rca spageship from the year 2900?

But it is missing the inevitable 1980's upright turntable

Some of the early 70s Up with People albums have some groovy funky tracks mixed in with the schlock. Someone needs to do a best of, if they haven't already.

I'm sorry, but a think you're stretching the term "funky" just a little bit...
