AllenLowe Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) awright - so as part of my job I had to call someone to confirm their address - and they live in a town in Pennsylvania that is spelled: Lititz how would you say this? Edited January 5, 2010 by AllenLowe Quote
Brad Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 I would break it up into two syllables: Lit-itz. I think one of our members (not sure if he posts any longer) Woodymaggie hails from there. Quote
Niko Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 could be german... if it is than it's a bit difficult to describe... sounds are as in "lee-teets" but both "ee" are short like the "y" in syllable... (ie, i would not break the word in the middle, rather speak it fast so that it rhymes with a quick "Brad wins")... hope this helps... Quote
AllenLowe Posted January 5, 2010 Author Report Posted January 5, 2010 no matter what I say, I'm gonna get a slap in the face - Quote
