I just about hit a moose on the way in to work earlier this week-- a cow protecting her calf that was eating willows on the bike path. They have been wandering around the neighborhood most of the winter eating the remains of the gardens and the halloween pumpkins and occasionally make a nuisance of themselves hanging around outside the front door making it impossible to get out without risking a kick...
