sgcim Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 Just finishing Ray Brown's biography by Jay Sweet. Today, Thomas Pynchon's new novel "Shadow Ticket" was released. It takes place in 1933, thus completing TP's cycle of a novel for every decade of the 20th Century. This one involves the disappearance of a cheese heiress, with a Private Eye hot on the trail. It seems she ran off with a big band clarinetist. to Germany. Was it of her own accord? We'll soon find out... Quote
