Wasn´t he one of the pianists in the Volume 1 and Volume 2 Miles Davis Blue Notes alongside Horace Silver? These are among my favorite early Miles discs! BTW: AMG only lists one disc by Gil Coggins as a leader: GIL´S MOOD I have a Japanese CD reissue of Gil's Mood. It's really nice. Calvin Hill on bass, Leroy Williams on drums.
