Rabshakeh Posted July 26 Posted July 26 It's a classic. Not sure whether you know Lucier or not but he was a composer who specialised in acoustics and feedback in the 1960s. He did pieces where he walked around an auditorium with a squeaky duck toy, etc. It really worked very well, and I say that as someone who listens to but is a bit skeptical about electro acoustic music. This is a famous piece of his. He repeatedly reads a piece of reference text and records it. By twenty minutes in, the recording is a blob of hypnotic acoustic blurring. The piece is from I think 1969 but this is the classic recording. Quote

Lp is expensive ! Cd release is an option, maybe. Quote
