JSngry Posted July 20, 2018 Author Report Posted July 20, 2018 Bill Mathieu, palate in the service understanding the gig. You go Bill Mathieu, you go. Speaking of palate, this is, visually, worthy of Hitchcock (musically too, if you feel so inclined...). I hope this clip lives forever and is never found in better form, becuase it is perfect just like this. Whoever was in the control booth for this one mixing the viual (the director, right?) was a genius. Â Quote

Kate Posted July 21, 2018 Report Posted July 21, 2018 My initial foray, which proved maddening, yet curiously rewarding; were this ensemble a purely instrumental affair the yield might be legend across multiple genres. Seems FZ finds the notion of musical flow and momentum anathema to the circus. I was going to call it 'performance art', but that's spuriously high gloss. Nonetheless, I've got a sizeable order of the catalogue now trickling in from Bezos' Dark Hole Sun. mikeweil Posted July 21, 2018 Report Posted July 21, 2018 Reissue of two Decca LPs. This originally cheap Spanish issue now goes for high prices - I was lucky to find a low price offer. Nice, but not as impressive as I thought it would be. Larkins is the congenial accompanist and perhaps shines the most in that role. Quote
