Joe Williams and Dave Pell's Prez Conference "Prez & Joe--In Celebration of Lester Young" Crescendo cd

Joe Williams is in fine voice here. This cd is definitely not a victim of "the loudness war." I had to crank this one all the way up! This is the second cd today where I said "wow Budwig--what a bass player!"

Such a cool guitar sound here, and overall the recording is quite nice.

I found this because of Teddy, quite enjoyable but IIRC kinda short on the track timings.  (And hey, more Ron Feuer, of the infamous Hammond Cheese LP with all those West Coast stars including Smilin' Billy.)
