Jerry Garcia “Live at the Warfield 1991” disc 1

A six disc set released Friday of three shows at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco in early 1991. Very good sound on this first one.

 

Followed by Kenny Davern, “A Night with Eddie Condon” Arbors Jazz cd. This is a live recording from 1971 led by Condon, not released until 2001.

The group included. guitarist Eddie Condon, trumpeter Bernie Privin, trombonist Lou McGarity, pianist Dill Jones, bassist Jack Lesberg, Kenny Davern clarinet and soprano saxophone, and Cliff Leeman, drummer.

This is actually a good album (Euro-jazz fusion, 1974)

This is an unusual crossover project but great fun to listen to.
