Starting off by re-listening to disc 1 of Mosaic’s new release, “The Complete Pharoah Sanders Theresa Recordings.” A mixed bag of material, all of it nice to listen to in this calm period of the day.

More and more I am amazed by the late Gary Peacock. He was an amazing technician and also so very lyrical and musical.

Are you familiar with this one, @jazzbo?  It also features Marc Copland & Gary Peacock.

While it's not exactly recent -- it's from 2006 -- it's a wonderful record.

Thanks for the tip. I'd known it was out there. . . but hadn't made an effort to get it. I'll correct that. I just ordered this, and "Voices."
