jazzbo Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago A tiny bit warmer this morning. It’s the time of year when a tiny bit is a bit bigger than months previous. Starting off the day with “Roxy Coss” self-titled, self-released cd This is my second copy as my first copy had a bad skip in the final track, and a visible scuff. So far this copy is perfectly fine; I really do like the music of Ms Coss. Quote

She is pretty mainstream, a bit more sedate at times than I think I would like, but her writing is interesting and she can play, hires good support. Now On to disc 3 of this excellent new reissue of two Bill Evans albums and many alternates/outtakes. “Haunted Heart: The Legendary Riverside Studio Recordings” Quote

Wish RCA, like the Sonny Rollins RCA original albums box set, would treat Paul Desmond's albums the same way. I'd buy that set in a second. I have three of them and would scoop up the others in a nice deluxe original albums box set in a heartbeat. Quote
