“Pedro Biker Sings the Song is You” Sonet cd, “Arranged and Conducted by Kenny Drew”

This is the only disc i have featuring the Danish drummer, singer and TV personality.

I think Kenny Drew gave this album the spirit it needed.

Recorded in Copenhagen in 1966.

What ever happened to Avery. His debut was on a big deal on Impulse! in 1996 ("My Generation"), with a highly promoted tour resulting in a large crowd at The Regattabar. It was a phenomenal show. Here it is 20 years later and I don't think he's ever played live in my area since and his releases are all on small labels with little to no distribution.

Wow! What a cover pic - excellent! And thanks for remembering me of Avery.
Will start listening to his music agan, starting with those first two albums from the Nineties,
"In Other Words" and "My Generation".

COLD. Thank goodness for that new furnace, despite the fact that it has caused me a financial tizzy!

I have neglected listening to Cannonball too long, going to make up for that this morning!
