Even quieter than usual this morning, and nice and cool.

Decided to start the day off with this album by bassist Harish Raghavan, “In Tense” on Whirlwind Records. Whrilwind has put out a number of good recordings. This one features Joel Ross, never a bad thing.

On to a Tom Harrell album, I’ve neglected his work for a spell.

Tom Harrell “Paradise” BMG cd

Harrell’s music really draws me in. This one is in very good sound and has many textures to the arrangements.

Bob Dylan “The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings” Columbia box set, disc 1

Over the years I just have not ever really warmed up to the Rolling Thunder Revue material. I’m going to try this box set out again and see whether it clicks for me. This first disc is studio rehearsal recordings.

Ts find (from the bin !) To find this disc in the bin is unbelievable ... bought The real thing in this thriftstore for one euro and that is a good album but in the shadow of this piece ...

Sometimes i ask myself (i know there are musiclovers in that charityshop/thriftstore) What will they take to their place if stuff like this isn't good enough ... i will never know and i am happy about that. One thing for sure ... They aren't familiar or interested with a wide range of music.

Brown had been often in Göttingen because of his musical work with Gunter Hampel.
Didn´t know about this concert with Waldron. 
Caugth Waldron live in 1989 with his quartet and Jim Pepper in a small club. Great concert, I also never forget him smoking his long cigarillos during the set.

Ts find (from the bin), found a few albums of this band and was listing them on Discogs while listening to it realising how much i liked it. I will keep these for sure. Feels underrated !
