If that is the case - Mr Queen is well out of it, their loss. He is certainly appreciated here in Europe - and long may that be the case. Fortunate to catch him with Msrs Tolliver, Cowell, Harper and McBee several years ago in London. Quote
Dmitry Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 I see the knee-jerkers have already checked in here. My opinion, there's got to be more to it than what's in the article. Quote

JSngry Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 Yes, please elucidate. As of now, best as I can tell, there is neither more nor less to the story than is in the article. Quote

JSngry Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 Oh, so you're going to learn more the same as the rest of us, you just stopped in to play the "knee jerk" card, right? Duly noted! Quote
Dmitry Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 What I'm saying is that there'll be a resolution to this story, and bureaucratic matters like this take time. Quote
JSngry Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 Oh, I see, that's what you're saying, not that " there's got to be more to it than what's in the article". Thanks for the clarification! Quote
Dmitry Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Yeah, it probably didn't come out the intended way. I'm sure the Swiss Alvin will be issued a US visa. I don't think the Swiss citizens need an entry visa to the US, but if he's being admitted here to work, he may need a work visa? Actually I don't know how that would work, since it's only for one or two gigs. Maybe she can help? Quote
JSngry Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 I think it's safe to say that the future is yet to come! And also that bureaucratic fuck ups are part of our past history, as well as the future, we does lie ahead, history not yet made, but surely to be there as tomorrow's past, just waiting to have happened. danasgoodstuff Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 On a purely practical level, he should've held onto his US Passport. It's bullshit that dropped charges from so long ago should be causing him a problem now, but entirely predictable. Quote
