Kevin Bresnahan Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 (edited) Wow - my old hometown of Holyoke, MA makes the list? That's pretty amazing considering the non-existent Jazz scene there. Edited November 15, 2017 by Kevin Bresnahan Quote
mjazzg Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I'm just hoping the gaps between Paris, Antwerp and Amsterdam allow for a visit to London Quote

I may catch the Holyoke or Newburgh show. Quote
Steve Reynolds Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I’ll should be at the Newburgh show. Nice venue. I was at the Tim Berne Snakeoil show a couple of months ago. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 We caught the Chicago event last year. It was a blast. Quote
OliverM Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Thanks for the notice, will be looking out for info on the Paris date. Quote
jlhoots Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I'd go to that - BUT they'll never even get close to where I am. Quote

Late Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 Man, I wish Ayler would have recorded a Christmas album! Just imagine his rendition of "Silent Night." I'd go to Williams' show ... if he came to the West Coast. Quote
jlhoots Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 There's a CD of this stuff. Just ordered. Quote

cliffpeterson Posted December 2, 2017 Author Report Posted December 2, 2017 Went to the Holyoke concert last night. one 90 minute set. Great show. the first 40 minutes or so followed in order the tunes on the cd. Everybody sight reading the material (other than Williams). Probably better later in the tour but last night was more than pretty good. Quote
