Henry Cow (feat members of Slapp Happy) - In Praise of Learning

That is after finishing a salutary morning listen to Cannibal Corpse's Vile, the cover of which I shall refrain from posting, partly so as not to upset and partly so as not to end up on some sort of government list.

Al Green out-takes, rarities and B-Sides ..... quite some Soul artists would have struggled to assemble a "greatest hits" collection of this quality ..

Bizarre cover image to have chosen. An outtake in itself.

True .... hopefully it didn`t scare off too many potential byuers .... btw worth the ticket of entry for "Strong as Death (Sweet as Love)" alone ....

Tommie Young "Do You Still Feel The Same Way" (Soul Power) 1973 .... this lady had a sensational voice .... and the song material tailor made by Southern Soul songwriters Bobby Patterson and Jerry Strickland is top notch (too) ....

Saw them when they toured that in the UK, fantastic

It's a great album, in a career of great albums.  Easily one of my favorite rock bands ever.

I saw them about a week ago here in Phoenix (which is about 40% Hispanic), and people were dancing in the aisles for most of the show.

I bet, I saw them twice early on. Both were standing venues and they had London crowds dancing which isn't usual for a rock crowd over here

I stopped listening to them about the time of 'Kiko' only because I moved more into Jazz and left Rock behind.

I can imagine they're still great, they always had lots of soul.
