RIP. His Revelation albums are high, high up on my list of favorite recordings. The later hatOLOGY discs are also uniformly excellent. Glad he lived a long, full life.

Just recently realize he had played on Zappa's The Grand Wazoo.  I have a few things by him decades apart, seriously talented and underrecorded/underappriciated guy.  RIP.  94 is a good run.
