Upcoming Lester Young RSD (Black Friday, November) Birdland 51-52 recordings - looks like a single LP only & a paltry 8 tracks

Wonder if the source material will be the 6 LP Boris Rose Ambrosia broadcast recordings (or their original acetates) - pity they didn't attempt a larger more complete set (something I recently recommended as a Mosaic box release)

Yea - interesting that they release this now, but a curious choice from so much great live Pres from the early 1950s.

My impressions stated over there stand. Somehow the names, places and tracks sound oddly familiar. So what is REALLY new and unissued on this release in the end?
