brownie Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 (edited) Sixth level! I'm an Heretic! You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell. I'll take my time to get there Edited October 1, 2005 by brownie Quote

kenny weir Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 Seventh level for me. Youse guys either aren't trying hard enough or you're lying. The obsession around here Mosaics in particular and boxed sets in general - and never mind The Bastards - would I think automatically qualify just about all board members for the hotter nether regions. Gary Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Strange but interesting. This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon. Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky! Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, you'll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but pretty cool http://www.bbc.co.uk/go/dna/mbfivelive/F21...er/ghostcar.wmv Quote

If you look again, you can first just start to see it (whatever it is) about 15-seconds in. And yeah, I'll grant you, at that point it does just look just like mist. But then by the 20-second mark - look how it almost moves with the car -- almost kind of like some sort of shadow, only white (like mist) instead of dark. It's only a few seconds long, so you have to look closely. Very spooky. Edited November 3, 2005 by Rooster_Ties Quote
